Giving wave to help support our communities
For the last 10 weeks I have been making weekly $20 donations to a different local nonprofit or community effort as part of a commitment I made back in April to try to contribute to a new #givingwave and support our community in challenging times. My hope is that this would create a new habit for me and perhaps inspire others to do the same at whatever level fits their budget. Bigger gifts can seem daunting at the end of the year but I figure small gifts along the way are easier to stomach and still add up to quite a lot!
Today is also the second half of the NHGIVES campaign and that started last night and continues over the next 8(ish) hours (until 6pm tonight June 10th). Please consider a donation to any one of the many great non-profits in our community and in our state.
As part of my personal commitment to rethink and expand my own giving, I've donated $20 to each of the groups linked below in an effort to make my giving more intentional and local. 42 weeks to go, but I'm already thinking I'll make it permanent! I welcome anyone who wants to join me in this commitment as well!

More to come in the coming 40+ weeks!
Who are you giving to? Add to the comments below and I’ll use them for ideas in the coming weeks. Thank you!
