A giving wave?

With all that's going on right now I've decided one thing I can do is to be more deliberate and more local in my giving. Starting today I'm committing to give $20 to a different local nonprofit or community effort each week for the next year (or more!). Hopefully this creates a new habit for me and perhaps inspires others to do the same at whatever level fits their budget. Bigger gifts can seem daunting at the end of the year but I figure small gifts along the way are easier to stomach and still add up!

Each Sunday I'll post who I've given to and would love to hear who's getting your support as well. It'll give me ideas for the future too.
