Progress on Budget Deliberations

Budget deliberations continue tonight during our Council workshop at 7pm. You can watch the meeting live on Channel 22 or livestream on DNTV (the agenda is posted here).

Based on the current proposed adjustments to what the Manager originally presented earlier this spring, the average residential property in Dover (~$300k) would see an increase of about $15 a month on their tax bill. You can estimate from there that a $150k property would see about $7/ month increase, and a $600k property would see about $30/ month increase. We will continue discussions tonight so there may be further changes to these estimates as we go forward.
